I was honoured to be asked to contribute to an e-book project collated by the lovely people at Modern Mint, a creative garden design company based in Essex, which also runs a lovely internet shop for gardeners.

The idea of Modern Mint owner Darren Lerigo (a multi-talented and innovative chap), Contemporary Green is a collection of 100-word manifestos from garden authors and enthusiasts, on how and why we cultivate our gardens as we do.
As you might expect, my entry was all about grass!

The e-book was launched to coincide with The RHS Chelsea Flower Show as a Chelsea Fringe project and created quite a stir. It was also promoted by Gardens Illustrated magazine as a highlight of the festival.
Money raised by kind sponsors of the project has gone to the Rare Breeds Survival Trust. So three cheers for that too!
Please have read and enjoy. Then do pass it on!
